We have weekly services and midweek meetings at the Rock Baptist Chapel, just above Crossgates and within a 10 minute drive of Llandrindod Wells. It is our desire to glorify the Lord and to see lives built upon the Lord Jesus Christ, our Rock and sure foundation. We welcome you to join us!

Sunday Worship
Our Sunday AM and PM worship begins with a welcome to all and the weekly notices. Following that the speaker opens in prayer, leads us in some hymns, reads from the Bible and preaches a sermon to us. (Most of our sermons are recorded in our Sermons page). Often in the evening, there will be a children’s address but families and those of all ages are warmly welcomed in all our services.
Sunday School
Our Sunday School meets midway through our Morning Service to offer a chance for pre-primary to early secondary children to sing some songs, create a craft and hear a story from the Bible.
We operate this ministry in line with our safeguarding policy, please contact us for further information.
Midweek Meeting
Our midweek meeting on Wednesday is a chance to join together for Bible study and prayer. We meet at 7:30pm and usually begin with a hymn and then share prayer requests before praying together as a fellowship. The speaker then leads us in a Bible study to close the meeting (most of which are recorded in our Sermons page). We really encourage you to come and join us for this meeting!
Music
Our meetings includes traditional hymns from the original Christian Hymns published by the Evangelical Movement of Wales in 1977. We desire to sing timeless Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs that not only cause us to think through the depth of Biblical truth but also to glorify God through worship that is reverent and distinctive. We trust you find the singing of these hymns a blessing during your visit.

The church is located just above Crossgates and conveniently signposted off the main A483.

There is a large car park just beyond the sign welcoming you to the church.
Need a Lift?
If you are in or near Llandrindod and would like a lift to any of our meetings, please contact us and we will make every attempt we can to assist you. While we cannot guarantee a lift on every occasion, many of our regular attendees drive from different directions to get to the Rock Chapel, and we would love to help if we can.
Accessibility
For those with limited mobility, you can avoid the steps leading from the carpark to the church by driving up the lane next to the chapel building itself. Once inside, there are box pews on the ground level, but there is space for wheelchair users. Speak to our greeter who gladly be willing to provide any further assistance.
Hearing Loop
Our speaker system is connected to an induction T hearing loop which to enable those with hearing aids to more easily hear the service.
If you experience any difficulty in connecting with this during the service, please speak to those sitting at the back corner near our audio equipment.
Booking Ahead
There currently is no need to book your space when visiting with us, however if you do get in contact with us ahead of your visit, we can be sure to reserve you a space or answer any other questions you may have.

300 Year Anniversary
In 2021 the Rock Baptist Church celebrated 300 years since the congregation was formed in 1721. We held some commemorative events on the 11th & 12th of September to mark the occasion.
